Summer school is a great way to graduate early, catch up, or get ahead. If you would like to see what courses are being offered at MTSU this summer, search our course schedule . There are over 1,200 courses offered in summer from which to choose.

Registration for Summer 2008 classes will begin April 7 for current students. For more information about registering for summer courses and deadlines, view the registration guide .

Some reasons you may want to consider summer school at MTSU:

  • Graduate early! And start your career faster.
  • Catch up! If you dropped a course, made a bad grade, or changed your major, take a summer course to get back on track.
  • Get ahead! Complete prerequisites for your major or for graduate school.
  • Learn online! You don’t have to give up your summer plans to go to summer school. Take online classes and earn credit wherever you are.
  • Flexibility! Classes are offered in 3-week, 5-week, 10-week, or 13-week formats. Take classes in the evening, online, or through correspondence.

If you are not a current student at MTSU, your first step is to apply for admission as an undergraduate student or as a graduate student .

  • Full Term: May 12-August 8
  • May Term (S1): May 12-30
  • June Term (S2): June 2-July 3
  • July Term (S3): July 7-August 8
  • RODP Term (R): June 2-August 8
