- Explore John Adams: Unbound, the traveling exhibit that examines how books shaped John Adams and his contributions to American thought, Walker Library First Floor, just past the elevators
- View MTSU Graphic Design students’ posters of Constitutional ideals, Todd Gallery, Walker Library Lobby, and Cope Lobby
- Read portions of the Constitution posted on signs on campus all week!
Sunday, September 11
- 2 p.m., Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department, 940 New Salem Highway
- Share in the Rutherford County 9/11 Commemoration with our community, our local first-responders, and MTSU student participants
Tuesday, September 13
- Events all day with The Honorable James A. Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities
- Engage in a panel discussion, John Adams: A Lasting Legacy, with distinguished scholars Drs. Robb McDaniel, Lynn Nelson, John Vile, and James H. Williams of MTSU, with Chairman James A. Leach, National Endowment for the Humanities, 11:20, Walker Library First Floor, in the John Adams: Unbound exhibit
- Expand your thinking through "Civility, the Constitution, and the Courts,” MTSU’s Centennial Constitution Day Distinguished Lecture, by James A. Leach, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities: 4:30 p.m., T. Earl Hinton Music Hall, Wright Music Building

- Meet President John Adams: George Baker portrays our nation’s second president, writer of the Massachusetts Constitution that laid a foundation on which the U.S. Constitution was developed
Thursday, September 15
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Walker Library Portico
- Print your own copy of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution on the University’s replica 18th-century printing press
Thursday, September 15 & Friday, September 16
9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, KUC Knoll
- Sign the U.S. Constitution
- Register to vote!
- Talk to President James Madison, framer of the U.S. Constitution, and Mrs. Dolley Madison
- Screen print a T-shirt of Constitution-inspired designs created by students of Printer’s Proof. Print on your own shirt or buy one on site.
- Listen and participate in civically engaged live music, socially conscious songs of patriotism and protest, by RIM students
- Make vellum/parchment with the students of Agribusiness and Agriscience
- Find out about campus civic engagement initiatives by MTSU student organizations!
