Illustration

Illustration is a required component of the Graphic Design Program. Students must take at least one course in either traditional materials, ART 4290, or digital illustration, ART 4280, to gain an understanding of the relationship of illustration to design and the working relationship between designers and illustrators. Students wishing to use illustration as a minor must take ART 4280 Digital Illustration, ART 4290 Beginning Illustration, and ART 4300 Advanced Illustration. Additional work in illustration may be done through enrollment in ART 4640 Advanced Art Problems. All three of the illustration courses are open to non Graphic Design students with permission of the instructor.
