Sound in Print: The Art of the Contemporary Music Poster

Sound in Print is a show that celebrates music poster art and design. Over 50 participants are expected to show approximately 250 limited edition posters that showcase a variety of art and design styles incorporating silkscreen and letterpress techniques. As well, Sound in Print is a confirmation and recognition of Tennessee’s place as a center for the music poster, as noted in Print Magazine, which has stated in recent issues that Tennessee has become synonymous with the hand-crafted poster. Visit Todd Gallery at MTSU to see a one of a kind show dedicated to artists & designers creating innovative and interesting images that resonate with the music consuming public.

Reception: Friday, March 23rd at 6:30pm
Gallery patrons will have the ability to purchase limited edition posters with proceeds going to the MTSU art scholarship fund.
