Student Activity Fee Information

Fall 2009 funds have been distributed. All receipts associated with Fall expenditures must be submitted with the completed reimbursement request form by December 11, 2009.

Spring 2010 applications will be available Monday, November 2, 2009. The deadline to submit for Spring Funds is December 4, 2009.

In order to be eligible for Student Activity Fee funds, you must have completed software training, submitted the club application through the ICS software, and be a registered student organization through the Office of Leadership & Service. In addition the organization President must have attended Presidium or the Orientation Workshop.

Student Organization Software Training

The Office of Leadership and Service will continue to offer ICS Software Training during the Fall Semester. There will be two sessions per month with 10 seats open per session.

The dates are:

Tuesday, September 15th 1:00 pm
Wednesday, September 30th 1:00 pm
Tuesday, October 13th 1:00 pm
Wednesday, October 28th 1:00 pm
Tuesday, November 10th 1:00 pm
Monday, November 23rd 1:00 pm

Sessions will be held in the Student Organization Resource Room located in KUC 326S. To reserve a spot, email camporgs@mtsu.edu with the date you will attend and the organization you are representing.

**To remain an active student organization at MTSU, both a student representative and advisor must complete ICS Software Training.

Student Organization Fair

It's time for the 2009 Student Organization Fair!

On Wednesday, September 9, 2009 student organizations will be OPENLY recruiting for new members and we welcome you to come to the KUC Knoll from 10:00am-2:00pm to see what these organizations have to offer. Members honors, departmental, religious, Greek, will be ready to meet and answer questions for students wishing to know more information. The Student Organization Fair provides MTSU students with the opportunity to get involved on campus through joining Student Organizations.

Each organization wishing to participate can contact Olivia Barker in the Office of Leadership and Service at camporgs@mtsu.edu or 615-898-5812 and reserve a spot no later than August 31st. Go Raiders!

Blue Raider Leadership Summit

The Blue Raider Leadership Summit is an educational opportunity for students to learn about the principles and techniques of effective leadership, as well as network with other students. BRLS is planned by B.O.L.T. (Better our Leaders for Tomorrow) and is completed student-led. February 5-6, 2010, MTSU students will be learning the "Unleashing your Leadership Superpowers". Come join 100 other student leaders for a weekend of fun-filled learning about leadership and what it means for you.

Up 'Til Dawn 2010

Team Registration is now open for the 2010 Up 'til Dawn Finale Event. Teams consist of 6 people who are challenged to raise $650 for the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Contact Up 'Til Dawn at uptldawn@mtsu.edu!
