    • Four exams = 90 pts. (total)
      • First three exams = 25 pts. each
        • Drop lowest of first three exam grades
      • Final exam = 40 pts.
        • 25 pts. on new material, 15 pts. comprehensive
      • Exams are machine-graded, mostly M.C.
      • Final grade - modified standard scale
      • No make-up exams
    • "Pre-lecture", online quizzes over reading material = 15 pts. (total)
      • 15 questions per quiz, about two quizzes per week (except test week)
      • Each quiz is worth 1.5 pts. (0.1 pts./question)
        • Have two chances to take each quiz online through WebCT
        • Quizzes are timed: 20 min. each
      • Highest 10 quizzes (out of 20+) count toward grade
      • Must complete at least 16 to earn ANY points
    • Must take "Requirements" quiz to remain enrolled in class:
      • If you have not taken this quiz by Midnight, Sept. 14, you will be reported as "non-attending" and administratively dropped from this course.
