The
Center for Historic Preservation at Middle Tennessee State University is a national clearinghouse for heritage education materials and provides a wide range of services and programs to schools and community organizations. The Center is responsible for the Heritage Education Network (THEN) , a national site for material and resources. Curriculum guides and lesson plans on various topics are available upon request. Memphis Heritage provides some heritage education materials dealing with historic architecture, national register properties, community history, and historic sites in the Memphis area. Audio-visuals are currently in development. Brochures are also available.
