As one portion of a course exploring various literary theories in relation to Harry Potter, I will be creating coursework on Marxist Criticism.  I would suggest many other forms of criticism be explored as well. Harry Potter can lend itself easily to psychoanalytic theory, reader-response, archetypal criticism, and more.

As time permits, I may attempt to add coursework for these other forms of criticism, and I welcome any suggestions.
