Computer Literacy - CSCI 1000
Students who have had extensive experience using computer applications and with understanding computer concepts can obtain credit for Computer Literacy - CSCI1000 by taking the "Credit by Special Examination". A score of 70% or higher must be achieved on this test in order to receive credit for the course.

2. How do students arrange to take the test? Students
wishing to take the special exam must register with University Admissions and
then arrange with Ms. Parker in the Computer Science Department or with the Computer Science Departmental office to take the test. Students must come to Professor Parker's office (KOM 357) or the the Computer Science Departmental office (KOM 306) and fill out a form requesting to take the test.
NOTE: Students will not be allowed to take the test unless
they have pre-registered with Ms. Parker beforehand.
3. When will the test be given? For Summer, 2009, the test will be given July 15 , 1:00 p.m. in KOM 357.
4. What materials should be brought to the testing site?
