Mara Miller is a sophomore performance major at Middle Tennessee State University. She has studied with Rufus Long and currently studies with Dr. Deanna Little. She participates in the MTSU Symphonic Band, Marching Band, and Flute Choir and plans on playing in the MTSU Symphony Orchestra this fall. In high school, she participated in the Tennessee Mid-State Band for four years, the Nashville Youth Repertory Orchestra, and was John Overton High School's drum major for two years. She has performed in master classes with Holly Hoffman, Lisa Schroeder, and Erik Gratton. In her free time, Mara enjoys photography, singing, and composing.
