Finance Position
The Department of Economics and Finance seeks to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in finance (position# 113080) at the assistant or associate professor rank in the corporate finance or investments area.
Position starts August 1, 2012. Applicant screenings will be conducted at the FMA meetings in Denver.
The appointee is expected to engage in high quality research and to be an effective classroom teacher at the graduate and undergraduate levels. A Ph.D. in finance is expected by appointment date (ABD close to completion considered). Review of applications begins October 31, 2011 and continues until position is filled.

Economics Positions
The Department of Economics and Finance seeks to fill two full-time, tenure-track positions in economics (positions 113100 and 113150) at the assistant or associate professor rank in macroeconomics (JEL Code E) or in one of the following applied microeconomic areas: health, education, and welfare (JEL Code I), labor and demographic economics (JEL Code J), industrial organization (JEL Code L), or urban, rural, and regional economics (JEL Code R).
Positions start August 1, 2012. Applicant screenings will be conducted at the ASSA meetings in Chicago.
The appointees are expected to engage in high quality research and to be effective classroom teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Responsibilities will likely also include serving on Ph.D. dissertation committees. A Ph.D. in economics is expected by appointment date. ABD considered. Review of applications begins October 31, 2011 and continues until position is filled.
