Fields of Concentration
Every student has to choose a major and minor field. Competency in each field is tested by a comprehensive examination. Two courses are required per field. Currently, the department offers fields of specialization in monetary economics and labor economics. Faculty will offer short overviews of the available fields and their likely job prospects to help students make informed decisions.
