The
Evening Extended School Program (EESP) is a choice program for Homer
Pittard Campus School children in grades K-6 and the children of
MTSU’s students, faculty and staff in grades K-8. EESP provides
a safe, educationally enriching, quality care program. Children
will have opportunities to engage in activities, which will benefit
them emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually. The
program includes crafts, sports and games, snack, art, science,
music, field trips (when possible), and many other creative and
cultural activities. A special time each day will be allotted for
homework assistance. The program is conducted and planned by staff
trained to meet the needs of children and to provide positive adult
role models. There is flexibility to accommodate children from different
age groups. The Evening Extended School Program is a non-discrimination
program. The program will eventually be totally financed through
parent fees.
We
want to know how you and your child feel about EESP and how we might
better meet the needs of the parents and children of EESP. All questions
concerning policies and procedures of the Evening Extended School
Program should be addressed to the Director of the Program. Should
you have any questions or concerns about the program, please feel
free to call EESP at 904-8220.
EESP
is an equal opportunity, non-racially identifiable, program that
does not discriminate against individuals with disabilities.
