About The Education Resource Channel
Programs are obtained from a variety of sources. The Instructional Technology Support Center produces weekly live K-12 student enrichment and professional development programs during the fall and spring semesters.
The ITSC also collaborates with other departments on campus and public and private organizations to produce additional educational programs. Periodically, programs that have a timely importance to the local community will be shown live.
Programs are also obtained from nationally known and independent producers of educational, informative, and dramatic material. Some of these programs are presented directly from satellite feeds, others are presented from disc or tape. Locally produced video programs with informative, educational, or dramatic content are given consideration as program selections. For a complete list of our program sources and links to additional material, please visit our programs page.
Local producers of informative, educational, or dramatic video programs are invited to submit them for consideration to show on the channel. To be considered for acceptance, programs must meet certain criteria. Programs should be sent to the station by following the guidelines for submission .
Programs submitted for consideration will be reviewed by the selection committee . Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to the person submitting the program within one month following its receipt by the station. If accepted, a program will be included in the schedule at the discretion of the station manager. Please allow a minimum of 4-6 weeks following written notification for an accepted program to be included in the schedule.
NOTE: programs submitted for consideration become the property of the station and will not be returned, regardless of acceptance or rejection. Retention or disposal of programs submitted for consideration is at the discretion of the Station Manager.
