Co-op Education

Cooperative Education provides participating students with a unique opportunity to gain real world experience while pursuing a degree. integrates classroom studies with supervised work assignments at actual job sites. While working in a position related to their academic program of study, students are able to develop a better understanding of some of the day-to-day issues and applications. Cooperative Education provides participating students with a unique opportunity to gain real world experience while pursuing a degree. The co-op experience integrates classroom studies with supervised work assignments at actual job sites. While working in a position related to their academic program of study, students are able to develop a better understanding of some of the day-to-day issues and applications. Service Learning

Service-learning is a student centered teaching method that involves academic instruction in partnership with MTSU and the larger community. The primary focus of service-learning is to enhance critical and reflective thinking and civic responsibility. Service-learning programs involve students in organized community partnerships that address local needs while developing their academic skills and sense of civic responsibility and community.

American Democracy Project

Leadership Development

Leadership Development at MTSU promotes a comprehensive array of both classroom and co-curricular opportunities designed to enhance personal growth, leadership skills, and community involvement.
