Martha
Jo Edwards
Dr. Edwards
holds the Adams Chair of Excellence in Health Care Services.
She serves as the director of the Center for Health and Human
Services, which focuses on transdisciplinary program development
and linking MTSU to the community. She holds the rank of Professor
and is an accomplished educator, researcher and administrator
in higher education. She earned a B.S. from the University
of Alabama in Birmingham, a Masters from the University of
Memphis, and a Doctorate of Education from the University
of Florida.
She was
selected for the Chair of Excellence in Health Care Services
based on a distinguished career in Health professions workforce
development nationally and internationally. Dr. Edwards is
active in several professional organizations at the local,
state and national level. She serves as on several national
and international editorial review boards and is a consultant
to the Kuwait, the United Kingdom and South Africa.
