Fall 2003

Welcome to FCCB I
Family Centered Community Building I is an introductory survey course on family-centered community building (FCCB). The course will introduce a range of topics, issues, and frameworks to help build stronger, more cohesive, and family-centered communities.

The course is presented in 15 sessions in the fall semester. In the spring semester, a second course (FCCB II) continues with discussion sections, field experience, and a community-based practicum.

The informal contract between instructors and students and among classmates is that we will all show up every day, do our reading and assignments on time, participate in discussions, work hard, and take advantage of this opportunity to learn.

Instructors
Al Gore and MTSU faculty.
