The new officers for the 2005/2006 school term have been selected. Congratulations to our new officers: Ben Neal (President), Jessica Causey (Vice President), Timmy Gibson (who shall refer himself as a 3rd person, as Secretary/Webmaster), Jessica Mentzer and Amanda Cotton as Co-Treasurers, and finally.....Levi Collins as Raider for Rationalism Foreign Consulate to Japan. We have great ideas for the next school term. Possible speakers for the next school term include Naomi Wolfe or Sam Harris, and a Darwin Week!!!!!!!

Sadly it's the end and it's the last meeting of the semester. It will be an election night as well as brainstorming ideas for the next school term. It will take place in Peck Hall room 314B. It will begin at 6pm.

01.New pictures from both the lecture "Beyond the Bible Code - Hidden Messages Everywhere!" and Quiz Bowl are posted on the photos page.

02.Team members (Timmy Gibson, Ben Neal, Levi Collins, and Jessica Causey) finish second place at the 2005 MTSU Quiz Bowl. congratulations!

03.The next meeting will take place Tuesday, March 22nd in Peck Hall room 314B starting at 6pm.

01. We're celebrating Darwin Day at our next meeting! So bring a cheap gift for gift exchange. There will be games and refreshments. It's so much fun. You must attend this festivity. The Darwin Day party will be this Tuesday (15. February) at 6pm in Peck Hall room 314B.

02. We'll have a table set up on Wednesday and Thursday (February 16-17) in the KUC on the second floor to sell candy from our very own snack sale as well as to promote the upcoming Dave Thomas speaker. It will be from 9am until roughly around 2pm.

01. The organization name is now Raiders for Rationalism.

03. Our next meeting (Tuesday February 01 at 6pm in Peck Hall 314B) will consists of an explanation of what our Darwin celebration is as well as planning for our first speaker of the semester, Dave E. Thomas. Here is a short bio on him found http://www.nmsr.org/thom-bio.htm He is speaking on "Beyond the Bible Code - Hidden Messages Everywhere!" on Monday February 21st 2005 at 7.30pm in the State Farm Lecture Hall in the BAS.

Here is some news on upcoming events for this semester:

01. Tuesday 18. January is not only the first day of school, but also our first meeting. It will start at 6pm. The room is set for Peck Hall 314B. The meetings will then be every two weeks (Feb 01, Feb 15, March 01, March 22, April 05, April 19).

02. We have a speaker coming. He's Dave E. Thomas. Here is a short bio on him found http://www.nmsr.org/thom-bio.htm He is speaking on "Beyond the Bible Code - Hidden Messages Everywhere!" on Monday February 21st 2005 at 7.30pm in the State Farm Lecture Hall in the BAS.

03. Darwin Day will take place on February 15th.
