The Middle Tennessee State University Summer Discovery Institutes expose
African-American high school students to premier academic programs of
the University. Participation with exceptional faculty and staff, immersion
into academic activities and projects, and involvement in the life of
the MTSU campus prepare students for future commitment to a collegiate
experience.
African-American
students attending grades 11 and 12 (as of fall 2006) at a Tennessee high
school are eligible to apply. The institutes are week-long residential
programs held on the MTSU campus.
