Students interested in applying for financial aid and/or academic scholarships should first review the online information provided by the MTSU Financial Aid Office and the MTSU Scholarships website, especially the Helpful Hints, which includes information regarding deadlines and a game plan for applying for and winning scholarships.

Some scholarships for Animal Science/Horse Science majors are available in the School of Agribusiness and Agriscience. Applications for these scholarships are available in the School of Agribusiness and Agriscience main office, SAG 100, or and the Horse Science main office, HSC 101, usually in early February.

Students interested in majoring in Horse Science are strongly encouraged to seek out additional scholarship opportunities within the horse industry, including breed associations and youth groups.
