Welcome from the Director of Horse Science, Dr. Dave Whitaker: Welcome to the MTSU Horse Program! We appreciate your interest and visit to our website. We encourage you to explore all of the links. After your web visit, please let us know if we can answer questions or set up a personal visit to our facility. We are excited about our Horse Program. We have one of the most comprehensive programs in the nation, combining outstanding facilities with caring faculty and staff. Our university offers a great menu of majors and minors as a complement to the horse program. Our extracurricular activities include an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Equestrian Team for Hunter Seat and Western riders, a Judging Team with a rich history of winning efforts, and a Horsemen's Association that connects with the industry with tours and meaningful service projects.
