| Rutledge Hall stands on the historic
west side of campus. This three story building, built in 1911 as
one of the first buildings on campus, is located beside tree-lined
pathways, providing a haven away from the bustling activities of
the rest of the campus.
Next
door to Rutledge Hall is the James Union Building which houses
the
Scheduling Center, the June Anderson Women's Center, Taco Bell,
Subway, and one of the main cafeterias on campus.

limited number of private rooms may be available
in Rutledge Hall. Typical furnishings for private rooms include

are a built in feature of all Rutledge Hall rooms.
Rutledge Hall offers a fully-staffed, 24-hour reception desk where
assistance with information, package delivery and guest registration
is available. The Rutledge lobby has a color television, house
phone, and comfortable seating for visitors. The hall offers both
laundry and kitchen facilities on the first floor. Also available
on the first floor is a study room for those residents who seek
a quiet place to ready or study. Rutledge Hall residents may easily
access the 24-hour computer lab located in nearby Lyon Hall.
