Searching for Film/Video Materials

• You may choose to use the InfoSearch or select Advanced Catalog Search above the box for your search.


• InfoSearch
  1. Type your term(s) in the blank search box.
  2. Press RETURN or the GO arrow button next to the box.
  3. Search Results display in a new window.
  4. You may choose to refine your search with one of the boxes on the left side (location, format, date, language, place)
  5. Simply click on the one that suits your search needs and press RETURN
  6. The new set of results will display.
     
• Advanced Catalog Search
1. Enter a word or phrase in the Search box
• Change ANY FIELD to Author, Title, Subject, Note as needed.
• Choose one of the other limit fields such as Location, Material Type, Year, etc. if needed..
2. Click on the SUBMIT button at the top to run the search.
   
   
• Search Results
• A list of titles matching your search request appears.
• Click on the title of the record you wish to view.
• The individual record displays. You will need the call number to check video out and view in the IMR library.
