Melbra Simmons

Melbra began working in the Media Library in September 1994 and is one of the friendly and helpful staff at the circulation desk. She supervises the operations of the circulation desk, assists patrons with locating and using our materials and equipment, schedules programs to be shown over the campus cable system, and checks out materials to faculty and staff. She accessions new (purchased) materials, notifies requestors of their arrival, and maintains the faculty class-assignment book.

Melbra received her B.S. in Health and Physical Education and her M.S. in Health and Physical Education with an emphasis in health from MTSU. She is married to Joseph Simmons; has three children, Jermetri, Jeremy (Tiko), and Jovan; and has eleven granchildren, Kerry, Shelby, Shamesha, Shatoriah, Airykah, Shakita, Jaylon, Kiyah, and Jayla, Elijah, and Jade.
