Publications
The
Office of Institutional Research (OIR) has three major publications.
Student
Profiles
Student Profiles is designed to provide a common
set of data to support planning, decision-making and effectiveness
efforts throughout the University. It is, also, intended to
provide information for responding to various surveys and
other inquiries. Published during the fall, spring and summer
semesters, the publication provides comprehensive data about
the student body such as enrollment, majors, student credit
hours, degrees and other demographics about the student population.

MTSU
Fact Book
Initiated in 1994, the MTSU Fact Book
is published annually during the fall semester. The purpose
of the MTSU Fact Book is to provide
comprehensive information and easy access to the most frequently
requested information about the University. In addition to
general information, data are provided on various components
of the University such as admissions, enrollment, academic
degree programs, faculty and staff, alumni, centers and chairs,
budget and financial, and facilities. The MTSU
Fact Book has been used for planning, decision-making,
policy formation and public relations.

MTSU
Fact Card
The MTSU Fact Card provides a reference
for some of the most frequently asked questions about the
University. It provides such information as headcount, student
credit hours, FTE, financial aid, degrees conferred and total
employees by category. The MTSU Fact Card
is a convenient credit-card size and supplies users with important
institutional data in a quick reference format. It is published
annually during the fall semester.
