Services We Offer
The
Office of Institutional Research (OIR) is the chief, central administrative
unit for providing data about the University. One of the primary
functions of the office is to provide data that support the University's
institutional effectiveness, planning, decision-making and policy
formation. The office provides data concerning all areas of the
University to its administration, faculty, staff and students. Data
are provided to administrative and academic units through various
analyses, publications, standard reports, surveys and adhoc requests.
Another
pivotal role of the office is serving as the University's primary
source for data mandated by federal, state and regional agencies,
guidebook publishers and other external publics. The information
provided to guidebook publishers serves as a national data source
for recruiting and public relations for the University. The office
supplies annual updates on graduation and retention rates, including
a comparison of the University's graduation rates with other TBR
institutions. Numerous adhoc requests for information are received
daily.
