Description

This presentation will begin by discussing the pros and cons of using plain HTML coding for webpages, and ways that you can make the HTML more interactive. The presentation will then focus on the 4 easiest ways to incorporate rich media into your materials/website. The 4 items that will be discussed are Acrobat, Flash, Real Media, and Quicktime. Much of the discussion will focus on real examples of how these tools are currently being used and specific examples of how a teacher could use these tools in their teaching, either online or in the classroom. The discussion will then close with practical advice for those wishing to incorporate these things into their teaching.
