Track 1 - Effective Technology-Based Learning Resources
Session Type - Lecture/Presentation

Description

Microsoft Producer is a free add-on to PowerPoint 2002 that allows users to capture, synchronize, and publish audio, video, slides, HTML, and images. Producer allows users to combine and synchronize audio and video with Power-Point slides, HTML, and images either manually or through its built-in wizards. Producer's wizards let the user import or capture several different types of media content, synchronize media elements, and publish the completed rich-media presentation. Participants will gain experience producing complete multimedia presentations that use Power-Point, video, and audio files. These presentations can be incorporated into WebCT shells and Web sites, or become stand-alone, CD-ROM projects. Producer can improve the way participants create, present, and collaborate on presentations. Producer requires a Windows operating system (Windows 2000, Windows XP) and PowerPoint 2002.
