Abstract

Photoshop is an image editing software that has evolved increasing the number of reasons for it to be used in addition to expanding to a wide range of users. It has typically been used by professionals in the graphic design and web development industry, but has also become commonly utilized on many home systems. Photoshop is now being used to create and enhance imagery on things like postage stamps and business cards to billboards and vehicle wraps.

Description

The purpose of this presentation is to help conference attendees learn new and/or additional perspectives of how to get superior results faster with industry-standard Adobe Photoshop software. This is a hands-on series that invites users that range from beginning to intermediate. Completion of the workshop leaves attendees with experiences ranging from learning the Photoshop interface’s main components to constructing a basic web page screen shot. Be in control with indispensable new features for graphic and Web designers, photographers, video professionals or even if you’d just like to enhance a personal project or some old family photos.

You will learn Photoshop tools including: curves, levels, layers, image sizing for reproduction or digital communication, achieving proper contrast, saturation, and color balance as well as selecting the right type of file for different multiple uses.
