Abstract:
Using software to which you may already have access, Blackboard and Microsoft PowerPoint, the presenter will share tips that increase active learning in and out of the classroom. Time will be set aside for participants to share examples of how they have used technology to promote active learning.

Description:
Participants will view demonstrations of how they can incorporate active learning using Blackboard and Microsoft PowerPoint. In addition participants will be provided with a collection of resources currently being used in various training sessions at Philadelphia University on this topic. In addition to the sharing portion of the presentation, participants will be actively involved in the demonstrations.
