Curriculum
The wellness and exercise science degree is a concentration within
physical education. The degree prepares students for positions in
corporate, hospital, and public wellness and fitness centers, as
well as graduate degrees in exercise science, physical therapy,
and cardiac rehabilitation. The degree requires completion of the
University General Education Requirements, a self-selected minor
or 17 credit hours of electives, 50 credit hours in the major, and
a 12 credit hour internship.
Students may select an upper division form from the catalog of
admission year to the present.
