There are two “breathings,” a soft breathing designated by: ‘ (a right facing apostrophe) and a hard breathing designated by: ’ (a left facing apostrophe)
Also note that there are two e’s (one short and one long), two o’s (one short and one long), and two s’s. The s is used anywhere in a word except for the last letter of a word, the V is used when the sigma occurs at the end of a word.
