Bibliography Citation and Usage Guidelines

The vast majority of the bibliographies listed on the Tennessee Archaeology Net are housed on computers across the world and are only linked from this site. You should consult the specific authors or webmasters for those sites for permission to copy or use those bibliographies. However, some bibliographies are housed on the Tennessee Archaeology Net server. These are all presented with the explicit permission of the authors, and they should be considered copyrighted by those authors unless otherwise noted.

The on-line bibliographies are provided as a public service of the Tennessee Archaeology Net maintained by Dr. Kevin Smith at Middle Tennessee State University. Provision of these bibliographies does require substantial disk space, and they will only be maintained if their use and citation justifies.

As a courtesy to both the authors and Tennessee Archaeology Net, the following guidelines for use and citation of these bibliographies are offered. If you find them useful, please take the time to help justify their existence.
