Linguistics is Word-tastic!
And the Linguistics Club is ... club-tastic? You know what I mean. The Fall '06 semester was an interesting time for us. We had speakers every week and learned a few things because of it. We had two outside speakers come in and they both drew huge crowds. It sounds like everything was great for us! The main problem is that we had a problem with membership, as in not having any. We will be meeting on a new day and time this semester in an attempt to allow more people to attend the meetings. We have high hopes for this semester, especially with our Linguistics Olympiad coming up.
