Available August, 2008 – Two tenure-track faculty positions to support a new interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Literacy Studies at Middle Tennessee State University. The university is seeking scholars to collaborate in the delivery of a program that integrates knowledge, across disciplines, to prepare the next generation of teacher educators and practitioners.

Elementary and Special Education, Reading/Learning Disabilities (Requisition # 1201)

Center for Dyslexia at Middle Tennessee State University (http://dyslexia.mtsu.edu) seeks applicants to teach graduate courses on the diagnosis of and interventions for language-based reading disabilities, engage in research pertinent to language-based reading disabilities, teach and mentor graduate students in the Certificate Program in Dyslexic Studies and new interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Literacy Studies (www.mtsu.edu/~literacy).
