The MIMIC Advisory Board functions to aid the staff in the management of MIMIC. As such, the Advisory Board is asked to make recommendations through the MIMIC Director to the CBAS Dean and VPR on such matters as:

• Daily operations of the MIMIC
• Policy and procedures of the MIMIC
• Enhancement of the laboratory programs
• Equipment acquisitions
• Personnel needs
• Budget
• Priorities for MIMIC

Membership of MIMIC Advisory Board: The Advisory Board consists of 5 faculty members, the Technical Manager, and one Chair, appointed by the VPR after he/she consults with the MIMIC Directors and other interested parties. Each term of appointment, will be for three years. The representation on the Advisory Board will be as broad as possible and will at all times include one faculty member each from the Departments of Biology and ETIS plus faculty from four other departments that use the facility.
