Diagrams to determine validity

syllogistic fallacies, section 6.6 (one question)
W.r.t. Chapter Seven, you need to know:
- how to reduce
deviant syllogisms to standard form by using obversion, conversion and/or contraposition
and/or the 9 guidelines
- what a PARAMETER
is
- how to test
enthymemes for validity and how to determine if they are 1st, 2nd,
or 3rd order
- how to do the
exercises on p. 283ff
The extra credit will be in class this time. (I will probably give you a difficult enthymeme.)
