We Exist to Provide an outlet for GLBT persons and supporters of equal rights to discuss various GLBT issues and to host unique events that are of interest to and are safe for the GLBT community and its supporters. Above and beyond any reason, Lambda exists to provide support for the members of the GLBT community at MTSU. Lambda is a non-profit, Tax-exempt organization.
MT Lambda is a peer group organization for people of various sexual orientations, or gender identifications, i.e., gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight students, faculty, and staff to share idea, support each other, and address current equality issues. MT Lambda strives to constantly improve the academic and social environments of MTSU's campus. We seek to inform, educate, and share experiences that will enlighten the community.
Lambda is a diverse organization that seeks to meet the needs of all of its members through many different aspects: Social, Political, Educational, Support.

The officers and members of the Lambda Association at MTSU invite you to join us at our meetings and events. We are looking for students within the MTSU community who want to have fun and contribute to our organization. We hope to see you at our next meeting!!!
MT Lambda provides an open atmosphere where members are encouraged to make friends and build relationships with other like-minded individuals. This is accomplished by attending social events such as dinners, movies, sporting events, and other campus activities.
MT Lambda is a political organization that strives to achieve social equality in society for all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. One of the ways we can achieve this goal is by becoming active in our government and by raising awareness of GLBT issues within the nation. Lambda also provides educational programming about and for the GLBT community at MTSU and Murfreesboro. We are also available to speak to classes on GLBT topics, and we also offer annual free HIV testing along with sex and AIDS education.
MT Lambda strives to provide support to the GLBT community and their straight supporters. We offer a location to discuss and share personal stories and concerns to relieve the stress we may experience from time to time. Lambda encourages all students to take advantage of the free counseling services offered by the University in the KUC Testing and Counseling Center and the June Anderson Women's Center located in the JUB.
