Get Involved with SERVICE

As a student, you can develop invaluable life skills as you serve in schools, community centers, nonprofit agencies, and neighborhoods. You can gain leadership skills by working alongside community leaders and local and national policy makers.

You can develop these skills through service-learning classes and the Raider Alternative Spring Break program to name a few.

Learn about volunteerism by reading:

  • What is the benefit of volunteerism?
  • Who can make a difference?
  • How can I get involved?
  • Getting started

Get more information on community work and your options with:

  • Why do we do community work?
  • What are my options?

If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved and really make a difference, contact us at 615-898-5812.
