Idea Mapping Workshops

pictureAdult Student Services, Older Wiser Learners (OWLs) and Pinnacle Honor Society co-sponsor, with support from SGA’s Student Activity Fee Funds and Distinguished Lecture Funds the Idea Mapping Workshop.

The workshop is offered at the following times:

  • Thursday, September 11: 1-4 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 11: 5-8 p.m.

The workshops will be held in the Faculty Senate Chambers, located in Room 100 of the James Union Building.

The workshops will be led by Jamie Nast, a nationally acknowledged expert on helping individuals organize their thinking. In 1998, Nast and her husband founded NastGroup, a consultancy organization specializing in optimizing mind potential. Her first book, Idea Mapping: How to Access Your Hidden Brain Power, Learn Faster, Remember More, and Achieve Success in Business, was published in 2007. She is currently writing a book on using Idea Mapping in educational settings.

These Idea Mapping workshops are made possible by a grant from the Student Activity Fee funds. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Mind Mapping is limited to 50 students per session. To reserve a space for a workshop, call the Off Campus Student Services at 615-898-5989.
