SERVICES: SCHOLARSHIPS

The OWLs student organization distributes four different types of scholarships each year. There are ten Academic Service Scholarships for students with a GPA higher than 3.00 and two OWLs Challenge Scholarships for students whose GPA falls between 2.5 and 2.99. There are also two scholarships funded by Marcus Nickell in honor of his two daughters who returned to college as nontraditional students to earn teaching degrees. See the details below.

Click here for instructions to apply for these scholarships online. The deadline for applying for the 2009-2010 school year is March 19, 2010.

OWLs Academic Service Scholarships

The OWLs at MTSU have ten Academic Service Scholarships to distribute each year. These scholarships provide $1,500 per semester and require five hours per week of work on campus, normally in our Off-Campus Student Services office or in an office associated with your major.
