Misconduct in Scholarly Activities and Research
This office is responsible for specific components of research compliance including the Institutional Review Board, Institutional Biosafety/Biohazard, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and Research Integrity. Reporting directly to the Vice Provost for Research and Sponsored Programs, the office is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, programs, and educational activities which satisfy Federal, State, Local, and institutional rules and regulations which govern the proper conduct of research.
Our Mission
To ensure University compliance with Federal, State, Local, and institutional rules and regulations governing the ethical conduct of research involving human subjects, animal care and use, and biosafety. It also ensures University commitment to maintaining the highest integrity in research and scholarship by its faculty, staff, and students.
