446 Journal Components:

1. A news article on a human genetics topic

2. A one-paragraph summary of the article (less than five sentences)

3. Two questions you have regarding the topic of the article

546 Journal Components:

1. A news article on a human genetics topic

2. A one-paragraph summary of the article (less than five sentences)

3. A citation and abstract for a scientific article on this topic or a related topic

4. Three questions you have regarding the topic of the article

You will need to find a news article on human genetics for each day of class. For example, on class day 3, you will need to have 3 human genetics articles in your journal. The news article may be from a newspaper, magazine, the internet, or any other “newsy” source. Your Journal may be taken up at any time, for any number of times, during the semester for grading or discussion selection, so bring it with you every day.
