The faculty of the Radio-Television/Photography Department currently consists of faculty in five emphasis areas. Some of the faculty focus on scholarly research in the form of creative activities, while the others focus on written research activities.
Marc J. Barr
Professor, teaches digital animation and compositing courses. Highest degree : MFA. Memphis State University, 1978.
Thomas Berg
Associate Professor, teaches in both the electronic media management and electronic media journalism. He also teaches introductory mass communication courses and in the graduate program for the college. Highest degree: Ph.D. University of Georgia, 1988.
L. Clare Bratten
Instructor, teaches video production and media theory classes at undergraduate level. Highest degree, Masters in Radio, TV, Film at University of Texas at Austin 1995; Completion of PhD at University of Wisconsin, Madison expected 2001.
John Egly
Instructor, teaches one course in radio station operations. Permanent staff member
of WMOT - NPR affiliated radio station located on campus. Highest degree: MS Middle Tennessee State University, 1979.
Christopher Harris
Professor, teaches digital imaging and media ethics courses. Highest degree: MA University of Alabama, 1991.
Thomas Jimison
Professor, teaches photography courses and manages the Harold Baldwin Photo Gallery. Highest degree: MFA The University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA., 1973.
Michael Johnson
