Video Systems Manager

Marc maintains many of the department's facilities. He is responsible for systems integration, bidding and the installation of new equipment. He is the sysop for several non-linear editors and the departments AP NewsCenter network. He works closely with faculty in instructing the students on proper usage of the systems. Marc also teaches a class in Video Systems Operations.

He has attended training sponsored by Ikegami and BTS.

Marc is SBE certified, has a BS from Miss State Univ. 1979 in Plant Pathology & Weed Science, BS from MTSU 1993 in Mass Communication, emphasis in TV Production. He serves as a member of SIGGRAPH SigTV sub-committee and is the chief Engineer for SigTV 1998.

First Secretary, Department of Radio-TV / Photography

Gail Sneed has been with MTSU since 1979. Gail started work in the Admissions Office and transferred to the Radio-TV/Photography Department in 1989. Gail passed her CPS (Certified Professional Secretary) exam in 1995 and is currently a member of the ASCE (Association of Secretarial and Clerical Employees). Gail was recently named quarterly secretarial/clerical award winner and is involved in all functions of the department.

Secretary, Department of Radio-TV / Photography

Irma Melton is the receptionist/secretary for Department of Radio-TV/Photography. Irma started work with MTSU on April 25, 1994. Irma directs incoming calls and assist students with scheduling and other clerical duties.
