Stuart E. Bernstein, Ph.D.

Research Interests

My general research interests are in the development of reading and spelling skills, specifically the units of representation when converting print to sound. In my research to date, I have focused early stages of the process of reading, including the assembly and retrieval of word representations and pronunciations.
