Directions from the Hampton Inn to McLean School of Music
- Drive out of the Armory Drive area towards Thompson Ln. Turn right onto Thompson Ln.
- Turn left very soon thereafter onto Old Fort Pkwy. Turn right onto NW Broad St.
- Turn left onto E. Main St. Continue through the square, rejoining Main on the other side.
- Turn left onto Middle Tennessee Dr. Turn right onto Faulkinberry Dr. This brings you onto campus.
- Keep going straight, until you reach the stop sign. The football stadium will be on your left.
- Just ahead on your right will be the music buildings. The first one will be Saunders Fine Arts; Wright
Music Building will be right behind it. Park in any legal space. Parking passes will be available.
"Checking In:"
Although there's no registration fee for the conference, we will still have a table set up to
check in. The table should be set up by 7:00 P.M. on Thursday. Feel free to arrive on
campus earlier than that if you wish. Dr. Osterfield will have the information packets in his
office before 7pm. Please feel free to stop by his office (Saunders Fine Arts 105) before you arrive.
Recordings
Recordings of the concerts will be available for $15. You will be
able to fill out a form when you are here, and the CD will be mailed to you.
Parking on Saturday
This will be a bit tougher. There is a large event on campus that has reserved several lots.
Dr. Osterfield will provide you with maps that will direct you to recommended lots for Saturday's events.
