Always My Sister

When we were younger
Mom and Dad would say
     Kiss and make up with your Sister
     She's the best friend you'll ever have
And we would grumble gripe
     as children do
     begrudgingly comply
Young ladies now
     she turns heads on campus
     always was the pretty one
My little sister all grown up -
     big sissy loves you
     always and forever
Like they said, I'll be here
     in case the monsters
     steal Snoopy again.
Sisters.
