Excel Assignment

1. Practice some of the formating options in Excel, such as wrap-text, color, and inserting number with a leading zero.

2. Copy and paste the information found in this link. Use the "text-to-columns" feature of Excel to parse the data into separate columns.

3. Use the parsed data from (1) to create a fake gradebook and use the formula features to find students' averages.

4. Practice freezing rows/columns with your gradebook.

5. Try to export your Gradebook to the web.

6. Make a graph of the equation .

7. Publish the graph of (6) to the web.

8. Create a live export graph where you want students to investigate values of a,b, and c of the general equation .

9. Create a live export of the graph in (8) that would allow for a student to manipulate a, b, and c for 3 different equations and see 3 different graphs. Create some questions you could ask the students.The graphs would look something like this:
