Learning Objectives: Sample Tests

Your tests will have two parts.  The first part is a short list of key terms to serve as a representative sample of the terminology used in psychological research.  These terms will be sampled from the following list:

Key Terms

The second part of the test will contain short answer essay questions.  These questions will tap specific learning objectives in the course.  I will make a list of these objectives as the semester proceeds, and link them below.

Objectives for Test 1
Objectives for Test 2
Objectives for Test 3

Click on one of the links below to see copies of previous tests containing both parts.

Test 1     Test 2      Test 3

Note, these tests are from several years ago, so don't expect your test to contain exactly the
same questions or cover the same material. The tests are consistent with the format of the
tests you will be given. Use these sample tests to give you an idea of the kind of questions
you can expect on your tests. Each semester I sample new identification questions from the
key terms in your books. Also, each semester I write new short-answer questions.
